Tourism Housing Assistance & Recovery Programme

The Tourism Housing Assistance & Recovery Programme initiative forms part of the Ministry of Tourism's wider recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa. Its purpose is to provide targeted support to tourism workers whose homes sustained damage, by offering building assistance packages to help restore safe living conditions and stabilise affected households.

This initiative recognises the essential role of tourism workers in Jamaica's recovery and is designed to bring meaningful relief as communities rebuild.
